Training for Real Miners
In 2000, The Colorado Stone, Sand & Gravel Association partnered with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety (CDRMS) to create a training video that would help to assist Safety Supervisors and Controllers in training new miners on the Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA)’s Part-46 regulations. Not only has our name been updated to the Mine Safety Institute, the offerings have expanded over the years to include On-Demand New Miner Training, New Miner Training in Spanish, Task Training, Annual Refresher Training, and the Operators Guide.
